Acceptable Use Policy

Instalow is built to help you manage your own Instagram accounts safely, inside Instagram's official rules. This policy explains what you may not do with the service. It is part of our Terms of Service.

What Instalow is for

Instalow is a management tool for Instagram Professional accounts you own or are authorized to manage: scheduling and publishing, a unified inbox, comment moderation, analytics, team workspaces, and optional customer-service automation, all through Meta's official Instagram APIs.

Prohibited uses

You must not use Instalow to:

1. Fake or artificial engagement

  • Buy, sell, exchange or generate fake likes, followers, comments, views or shares.
  • Participate in engagement pods, follow/unfollow schemes, or any manipulation of platform metrics.

2. Prohibited automation & scraping

  • Run automation that violates Instagram or Meta rules, or operate bots at abnormally high frequency.
  • Scrape data, use unofficial/undocumented endpoints, or circumvent rate limits or platform protections.

3. Spam & messaging abuse

  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or contact people without any legally required consent (opt-in).
  • Ignore opt-out requests, or use messaging for prohibited promotional purposes.

4. Unauthorized accounts

  • Connect or manage Instagram accounts you do not own and are not authorized to operate.

5. Harmful, illegal or NSFW content (including via AI)

  • Create, publish or automate sexually explicit, NSFW, harassing, hateful, violent, deceptive or illegal content.
  • Use AI-assisted replies to generate harmful, misleading or abusive content, or to impersonate a real person deceptively.

6. Reselling & misuse

  • Resell, sublicense or repackage Instalow's access to the Instagram APIs as your own API product.
  • Interfere with, probe or attempt to break the security or integrity of the service.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action including warning, limiting features, suspending, or terminating accounts, and reporting to the relevant platform or authorities where required. We may act immediately where a violation risks harm, legal exposure, or the safety of connected accounts.
